Sripatum University’s Logistics College Drives Forward SDG 4, 8, 9, and 17 with National-Standard Skills Testing Centre
In a strategic move that amplifies the voice of higher education in national development, Sripatum University’s College of Logistics and Supply Chain (Khon Kaen Campus) has launched a groundbreaking project—the establishment of a Certified Testing Centre for Warehouse Management Professions. This initiative significantly contributes to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

The new centre provides rigorous testing aligned with Thailand’s national professional standards, enabling students, alumni, and the public to certify their competencies in warehouse operations. More than a credential, this certification empowers individuals to engage with the logistics sector on a global scale—equipped with verifiable skills and industry-aligned readiness.

Collaboration with the Department of Skill Development reinforces SDG 17, showcasing the university’s commitment to national workforce development. Simultaneously, the project delivers on SDG 8 by enhancing employability and supporting fair labor access. With its strong foundation in applied learning, SPU Khon Kaen reaffirms its dedication to SDG 4 by bridging academic and industrial expectations in logistics education.

The initiative is not only a win for the university but also a blueprint for how private universities can align academic strategy with sustainable development at both local and national levels. Through this center, Sripatum University continues to set the standard in transforming education into action.

A Sustainable Future Through Certified Competence
Sripatum University is lighting the way for workforce transformation. By preparing students and communities with verified, job-ready skills in logistics, the university is helping power a more inclusive and sustainable economy for Thailand—and the world.
