From Classroom to Community and Career – Sripatum University’s Logistics Faculty Leads Holistic Learning Through SDG-Based Initiatives
Sripatum University’s College of Logistics and Supply Chain (Khon Kaen Campus) is setting a powerful example of how education can extend far beyond the lecture hall. Through a dynamic portfolio of academic enrichment activities, study tours, competitions, and community services, the college is embedding the principles of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) directly into the heart of student life.

Aligned strongly with SDG 4 (Quality Education), the university’s programs develop both technical and life skills. Students learn through real-world exposure, such as field visits to automation warehouses and international logistics routes, competitions that challenge innovation, and e-learning resources including E-books and YouTube lectures. These initiatives enhance SDG 8 (Decent Work) by preparing students for global employment markets and fostering entrepreneurial thinking.

Moreover, technology adoption—Excel workshops and digital simulations—reflects SPU’s alignment with SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure). Importantly, by engaging students from vocational backgrounds and offering equal access, the program upholds SDG 10 (Reduced Inequalities).

Partnerships with local communities and institutions, like Rajamangala University and local businesses, amplify impact and illustrate SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).

The Future of Logistics is Human-Centered, Technological, and Sustainable
Sripatum University’s commitment to experiential learning and global readiness is shaping students to be agile, ethical, and future-focused professionals. This model is more than education—it is a blueprint for social and economic sustainability.
