Building Bridges: SPU Empowers Students Through Advisor-Student Engagement for a Sustainable Future
Sripatum University’s Logistics College fosters student well-being and academic success through innovative mentoring under SDG 4, 3, and 8.
Sripatum University, Khon Kaen Campus, through its College of Logistics and Supply Chain, has launched a transformative initiative that directly aligns with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The “Advisor-Student Engagement Project” (โครงการที่ปรึกษาพบนักศึกษา) goes beyond academic advising — it cultivates mentorship, emotional well-being, and future readiness for students.
This impactful project primarily supports SDG 4 (Quality Education) by enhancing academic guidance, skill development, and student preparedness for lifelong learning and employment. It also contributes to SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through mental health support and fostering a sense of belonging, and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) by empowering students with planning and career-readiness skills.
Through a well-structured PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) model, students receive personalized consultations, participate in interactive skill-development workshops, and engage in discussions about life challenges and professional goals. The outcomes reflect high satisfaction levels and increased student confidence and trust in faculty advisors.
Sripatum University’s commitment to fostering sustainable education through inclusive student engagement showcases our leadership in aligning higher education with global development agendas. By bridging academic success and holistic student development, SPU is creating empowered graduates ready to build a better world.
