SPU Khon Kaen Celebrates Global Culture with “Halloween นี้ ปล่อยผีกับเด็ก EBC EP. 2”

A fusion of fun, learning, and inclusion came alive at Sripatum University Khon Kaen as the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Business Communication in English Program hosted its second annual “Halloween นี้ ปล่อยผีกับเด็ก EBC” celebration. On October 31, 2024, students transformed campus into a cultural playground with themed decorations, creative costumes, and the timeless “Trick or Treat” tradition — all while promoting diversity, creativity, and global cultural understanding.

More than a festive gathering, the event aligned with multiple Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It promoted Quality Education (SDG 4) through hands-on cultural learning, giving students first-hand exposure to Western traditions in a creative setting. The open participation policy, allowing everyone to dress and express themselves freely, reinforced Gender Equality (SDG 5) and Reduced Inequalities (SDG 10) by ensuring full inclusivity without discrimination.
The lively atmosphere also contributed to Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11) by creating an arts and cultural hub on campus, strengthening community bonds, and preserving cultural heritage through cross-cultural sharing. Faculty-student collaboration embodied Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16), while the event’s outreach to promote understanding of cultural diversity supported Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).

By blending cultural celebration with SDG-driven impact, “Halloween นี้ ปล่อยผีกับเด็ก EBC EP. 2” demonstrated that education extends beyond the classroom — into shared experiences that build empathy, creativity, and global citizenship.
