The “ALIVE Character Design Contest”
participation by Sripatum University Khon Kaen Campus Multimedia Technology students created significant impact by enhancing creative skills, professional confidence, and national-level exposure. Ten students and one lecturer engaged in showcasing original designs, receiving expert feedback, and networking with industry leaders, directly supporting SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth). The project promoted gender inclusivity in creative industries (SDG 5), fostered cultural engagement (SDG 11), and demonstrated innovation aligned with industry collaboration (SDG 9). It also reflected SPU’s commitment to equitable access (SDG 10) and multi-sector partnerships (SDG 17). With over 96% satisfaction in professional development opportunities, this initiative illustrates SPU’s proactive role in linking academic learning with real-world challenges, advancing multiple UN SDGs, and contributing to THE Impact Rankings objectives.
